I started experimenting with TieDye when my oldest child started pre-school. She is an avid and extraordinary artist, and when I picked her up that first day, I discovered the “washable” paints and markers… weren’t… ;)
So, I decided to try dyeing over the now-stained new outfit, and it worked!!!

I grew up on Kaua’i, literally surrounded by flowers and rainbows. When I made Portland my home, I knew I would always stay! But I missed my rainbows… I’m always on the lookout for enticing color combinations, turning to the flowers in my garden, and the colorful creatures of the world.
TieDye always inspires a smile, and that makes me very happy indeed!
